Rutvi Upadhyay holds the position of Research Associate II / Data Manager at the Data and Operations Management Center (DOMC) within the Center for Emerging and Reemerging Pathogens, located in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School. Her educational background includes a Master of Science degree from Rutgers School of Public Health, reflecting her deep interest in infectious diseases and public health. With more than four years of experience in public health research, Rutvi actively served as a Disease Investigator during the COVID-19 pandemic across various counties in New Jersey in collaboration with Rutgers School of Public Health and NJDOH, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience in managing public health emergencies.

In her current role at DOMC, Rutvi diligently handles the management of Redcap and Freezerpro data for FEND Pediatric and Drug Resistance protocols. Leveraging her advanced coding skills, she effortlessly analyzes complex data, generates progress reports, and develops data visualizations. Additionally, Rutvi takes on the responsibility of supervising the International data team and DOMC Interns by providing guidance on effective data management strategies, delegating tasks, and conducting training sessions. Furthermore, Rutvi actively engages in stakeholder management for international FEND sites and demonstrates a keen interest in academic pursuits. She also contributes to mentoring APE for MPH students and provides guidance for abstract poster presentations.
