Judi van Heerden is a Laboratory Technologist (Operations) at the Division of Medical Microbiology, UCT.

Judi did her MSc in Biochemistry at the University of Stellenbosch and then worked in the UK for 8 years in contract manufacturing for Lonza Biologics (Cell Culture Development and Pilot scale manufacturing).

She joined the Division of Medical Microbiology at the University of Cape Town in 2014 and has worked on the laboratory operations of many clinical trials since then.
